How to Start

Players alternate throws trying to land all of their bags on the board.

Each Turn

The player holding the most bags in their hand has advantage. That player gets to decide who throws and in what order.

After All Bags Are Thrown

All bags on the board stay on the board. Any bags that landed in the hole stay in the hole for one turn as a penalty.

End of Game

The first player or team to land all of their bags on the board wins. There is no retaliation or opportunity to tie.

Know the Terms

Penalty

A player or team is on a penalty when a bag goes in the hole. That bag remains in the hole for one full turn. A player immediately loses advantage if they go on a penalty.

Advantage

The player with the most bags in their hand has advantage and decides the order in which bags are thrown. If you want to throw all your bags first, you can. If players have equal bags, a coin toss determines who has advantage.

Keys to Winning

  1. Since the bags remain on the board, look to knock your opponent's bags off the board to take away their chance of winning.
  2. If an opponent landed a bag close to the hole, try to knock their bag into the hole to put them on a penalty.
  3. Because it's the first person to get all of their bags on the board, win coin-tosses to gain advantage and throw first.
